Our overnight pet sitting is ideal for pets with special needs or for other reasons you may not want to leave your pet alone.



Overnight Pet Sitting Stay $140*

8 – 10 hours

Your sitter will spend the night with your pet(s) in your home. The sitter will generally show up for the visit between 8-9pm and they will leave between 6-7am. Ideal for newborns and/or puppies/kittens, geriatric pets, pets with chronic health conditions, separation anxiety and for any other reason that makes you feel more comfortable knowing that someone is with them at night.

Overnight pet sitting includes feeding, walking, medications, cuddles, belly rubs, playtime and lots of loving and free home services as needed. If your pets are used to sleeping in bed with you, they will be able to do the same with us.

OVERNIGHT STAY CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the exclusive nature of overnight bookings, our pet sitters must decline all requests for overnights that coincide with the dates you have booked. Therefore, we charge a $30 per night cancellation fee, regardless of when the job is cancelled or the job total.

This service is subject to a $30 surcharge on major holidays.

Will you let my dog sleep on the bed with you?

Yes. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with you, they can sleep in bed with your sitter too. We follow your usual nighttime routine with all of your pets.

Do I need to have food in the fridge for you?

No, you don’t need to provide food for your sitter. We just ask for a small space in the refrigerator for anything your sitter brings.

What time will you arrive and leave?

Your sitter generally arrives between 8 and 9 p.m. and leaves between 6 and 7 a.m.

Who is overnight pet sitting best for?

Overnight pet sitting is best for pets who shouldn’t be alone at night: puppies and kittens, senior pets, pets with chronic health conditions, and pets with separation anxiety. It’s also a good choice any time you’d feel better knowing someone is with your pets overnight.

Will my pets be alone during the day?

Yes. If your pets will need care during the day, you can add daytime pet sitting visits at our regular rates.

What happens if my dog needs to go out during the night?

Your sitter will take your dog out during the night, just as you would. Share your dog’s usual overnight routine with us before your stay, and we’ll follow it.

Can your sitter give my pet medications?

Yes, most of our sitters are comfortable administering transdermal and oral medications. Some sitters are also able to administer insulin. Be sure to let us know about any medications before scheduling overnight pet sitting.

Will I have the same sitter every night?

Before we provide overnight pet sitting services you will meet a couple sitters who are able to do overnights. While it might be the same sitter every night, it isn’t guaranteed.

Will my sitter have guests or leave during the night?

No, your sitter will not have guests. The only time he or she would leave your home would be in an emergency, in which case you would be notified.
